The Centre hosted a Dialogue on the Government of Canada’s Bill C-15 which provided political, expert, and legal perspectives on the proposed legislation to implement the UN Declaration.
An Opera and Symposium: Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau
The Centre is hosting a film screening and panel presentation as part of a collaborative UBC symposium to commemorate the International Day of Commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust.

Special dialogue session on Implementing the UN Declaration in British Columbia
The IRSHDC arranged a special dialogue session on Implementing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UN Declaration) in British Columbia. The session brought together Indigenous, government, industry, labour, and civil society leaders, experts, and influencers for an open and frank exchange about the importance, challenges, and paths forward in respecting the human rights of Indigenous peoples in the UN Declaration.
