Curriculum Kits
The Education team is in the process of developing curriculum kits that can be checked out to teachers (K-12 and post-secondary). The kits touch on a variety of topics related to residential schools and include books, puppets, activity cards, discussion questions and online resources.
Coming summer 2021.
Early and Middle Years
Come to the Centre to see our family corner with a selection of books, activities and puppets for children of all ages. These materials are a preview of the curriculum kits.
High School and Beyond
The Centre has created History and Dialogue Cards which are self-guided activities and questions for reflection in the space. The cards encourage visitors to learn more about the legacy of residential schools in Canada and promote dialogue. Educators wanting to use the cards in their classrooms are encouraged to contact the Education team for more information and a PDF set.
