The Centre has welcomed three staff this past month to support the collections, education and research teams.
Noah Duranseaud, who previously worked in a consultant capacity, was hired as a Digital Systems Specialist in March. A graduate of UBC iSchool, Noah holds a dual role working with both the collections and research teams. Emily Larson, who previously worked in a consultant capacity, was hired as a Digital Systems Specialist in March. A graduate of UBC iSchool, Emily works with the collections team to share records through information systems such as the interactive wall and collections database. Jess Boon, who worked previously as a Youth Engagement Strategist, was hired as the Community Outreach Coordinator in March. Jess works to make connections with community members and is currently focusing on a podcast project creating intergenerational dialogue about the legacy of residential schools.
