
The Centre is hiring WorkLearn students for the fall to assist with Education and Engagement, and Communications and Projects.
The IRSHDC is a Survivor-centered organization providing access for former Indian Residential School students, their families and communities to records of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and information based in those records and other sources, and supporting education, research and dialogue about IRS history and its legacies.

Education Engagement Assistant (ID 880796)
- Assists the Research and Community Liaison Librarian with the evaluation and development of curricular materials, organizing events, conducting research related to the development of new educational resources, and participate in planning for youth and education engagement related to the upcoming 40th anniversary of the Indian Child Caravan and forthcoming exhibition at the IRSHDC.

Communications and Project Assistant (ID 880712)
- Assists with marketing initiatives and events on the Centre’s primary communications channels, including social media, website and digital signage, and assists with other activities related to internal communications, project management and administration.
